An Inverted Moon

I came home from work to a gorgeous moon hanging low in the western sky. I ran out to get a picture, but also wanted to try my first “inverted moon” like I’d seen some people try online. The result is very satisfying!

Observe the Moon Night and a Weather Balloon

It was a beautiful night to share the telescope with some friends and their kids. Seeing through a telescope is a rare event for most people, so it’s always a fun experience to share. We saw the Moon, Juipter, Saturn, and amazingly even a weather balloon!

ISS With My Cellphone

I tried photographing the space station with my cell phone! I’ve tried using a cell phone before, but not since having a nice smartphone. I still need some work dialing in the exposure settings, but the results are VERY promising!
